The annual Kwakwaduam Dinner Dance is one of the highlights of the Ghanaian social calendar in the USA.
Patrons defy the usually inclement weather every January on the Saturday of the MLK weekend to kick up heels in a suitably appointed ballroom. Owing to the popularity of the event and the adverse weather conditions in New York around the MLK weekend, the Dinner Dance has morphed into a Spring Ball and is now held on the last Saturday of April.
We also use the opportunity to recognize and celebrate individuals and businesses who have distinguished themselves in the service of the Ghanaian community in New York.
Tickets for the Kwakwaduam Ball offer arguably the best value for money on the Ghanaian social scene in New York. Each event is dedicated to raising funds for one of our programmes so the Kwakwaduam ball offers a memorable night of fun in support of a worthy cause.
