Kwakwaduam is largely peopled from the ranks of immigrants from Ghana. A sterner test in the expansion of our membership roll is the assimilation of our children. Precious few of our members are in their twenties and thirties with most of us aged above forty. The purpose of the annual Family Party is to bring family and guests of members together for an evening of merrymaking and speeches chiefly to remain relevant in the consciousness of our children. Every member’s minor child in attendance is presented with a gift card from a major department store.

The Family Party is also a gesture in thankfulness to the families and friends of our members for their sacrifice in sparing their loved ones for the causes of Kwakwaduam.

The Family Party is restricted to members of Kwakwaduam and their guests though interested parties may attend by prior arrangement with the Secretary.
